Shipping Terms

What is the OEC (oecny.com) Shipping Policy

• Office Supply orders of $75 or more SHIP FOR FREE!

• Furniture orders of $150 or more SHIP FOR FREE!

• Office Supply orders under $75 are charged a $10.00 flat shipping and handling fee.

• Furniture orders under $150 are charged a $25.00 flat shipping and handling fee.

• Orders placed before 3:00 PM EST will be processed the same day (Monday-Friday).

• Products such as desks, file cabinets, etc. that are too large to ship by UPS will ship to you via a local trucking company. Truck Deliveries typically require 1-3 additional days for delivery.

• Items that ship direct from the manufacturer may also require extra time for delivery. That information will be shown above the item's description and product number and to the right of the item's photo.

• You can determine if an item will ship by UPS or by a trucking company on each item’s detail page. The shipping method, with a link to more details, is found above the item's description and product number and to the right of the item's photo.

• Orders shipping by truck WILL NOT SHIP until we've spoken with you to confirm delivery arrangements. Once we've received your order we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the delivery arrangements. You may also contact us immediately at (800) 34-DESKS and we can get your order processed.

TRUCK DELIVERIES TO BUSINESS ADDRESSES

• Truck deliveries do not include inside delivery.

• Truck shipments are tailgate/dock delivery (the driver will bring the item(s) to the rear of the truck but will not assist you in bringing the item(s) inside).

• Inside delivery and/or setup is available in some metropolitan areas for an additional charge. Contact us at (800) 34-DESKS or by email to customercare@oecny.com for an inside delivery quote.

• Truck deliveries cannot be scheduled, however, we can request that the trucking company call before attempting delivery.

• A SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED for all truck deliveries, therefore, someone must be available during business hours to sign for a truck delivery.

• Please note any visible damage on the bill of lading/delivery ticket before signing for the shipment. You may also refuse delivery of any damaged items. If you do so, please contact us immediately so we may expedite a replacement for you as we WILL NOT be notified by the freight carrier for any refusals and no replacement will be sent.

• Any claims for damaged or missing items must be made within 48 hrs.

IMPORTANT - DO NOT DISCARD THE SHIPPING MATERIALS/ PACKAGING FOR YOUR ORDER until you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Items must be in their original packaging or they will not be returnable for credit or replacement.

• Orders shipping by truck WILL NOT SHIP until we've spoken with you to confirm delivery arrangements. Once we've received your order we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the delivery arrangements. TRUCK DELIVERIES TO RESIDENTIAL ADDRESSES & HOME OFFICES

• Inside delivery is not available to residential addresses or home offices.

• Truck shipments are tailgate/curbside delivery (the driver will bring the item to the rear of the truck but will not assist you in bringing the item inside).

• Truck deliveries cannot be scheduled, however we can request that the trucking company call before attempting delivery.

• A signature is required for all truck deliveries; someone must be available during business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM) to sign for a truck delivery.

• Note any visible damage on the bill of lading/delivery ticket before signing for the shipment.

 IMPORTANT - DO NOT DISCARD THE SHIPPING MATERIALS/ PACKAGING FOR YOUR ORDER until you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Items not in their original packaging are not returnable for credit or replacement.

Residential delivery is not available in some areas of the country; we will contact you if delivery cannot be made to your address.

• For items that ship directly from the manufacturer please allow additional time for delivery.

• Estimated delivery times for items shipping direct from the manufacturers are shown on each item’s detail page.

• The shipping method, with a link to more details, is found at the bottom of the Delivery Details box on the right side of the product page.

• Orders shipping by truck will not ship until we've spoken with you to confirm delivery arrangements. Once we've received your order we will contact you to make arrangements. If you prefer you may also contact us immediately at (800) 34-DESKS and we can get your order processed.

• Truck deliveries do not include inside delivery. Read our complete shipping policy here.

NOTE: ANY CLAIMS FOR DAMAGED OR MISSING ITEMS MUST BE MADE WITHIN 48 HRS.

Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands, International* and APO/FPO addresses

• OEC (oecny.com) currently does not offer shipment to these locations.

• We also cannot accept orders shipping to freight forwarding companies without prior approval.

• APO/FPO - Unfortunately we cannot ship to APO/FPO addresses as we are unable to adequately track our packages to the end user and have had difficulty in the past with packages being lost or items being damaged. We apologize for the inconvenience.
